Alerting is a Qualys platform component used to support alerting features. The service has two components;

• a rule-matching component,
• notification/alerting component

You can configure rules to keep track of critical events that meet the conditions specified in a rule and send you alert messages if events/incidents matching the condition are detected.

The Alerting application is integrated into all Qualys cloud platforms that support alerting.
