Cloud Agents are managed by our Cloud Platform which continuously updates the Cloud Agent status to give you visibility into the latest activity.
What does the status mean? |
Provisioned - The Cloud Agent successfully connected to the Cloud Platform and registered itself. This happens one time, after a user completed the steps to install the Cloud Agent. |
Agent Downloaded - A new Cloud Agent version was downloaded and the Cloud Agent was upgraded as part of the auto-update process. The Cloud Agent does not need to reboot to upgrade itself. |
Manifest Downloaded - Our service updated the manifest assigned to this Cloud Agent. This tells the Cloud Agent what metadata to collect from the host. The updated manifest was downloaded and it is in effect for this Cloud Agent. For non-Windows Cloud Agents the Status column shows specific manifest download status, such as Inventory Manifest Downloaded for inventory, and the following status for scans: VM Manifest Downloaded, PC Manifest Downloaded, FIM Manifest Downloaded, or EDR Manifest Downloaded. |
Configuration Downloaded - A user updated the configuration profile assigned to this Cloud Agent. This defines Cloud Agent behavior, that is, how the Cloud Agent will collect data from the host. The updated profile was successfully downloaded, and it is in effect for this Cloud Agent. |
Inventory Scan Complete - The Cloud Agent completed host discovery, collected some host information, and sent it to the Cloud Platform. During an inventory scan the Cloud Agent attempts to collect IP address, OS, NetBIOS name, DNS name, MAC address, and much more. |
