Agent Scan Merge

The Agent Scan Merge option combines the authenticated and unauthenticated vulnerability scan results. This gives you a unified view of your vulnerabilities from both the authenticated and unauthenticated scans.

Set the toggle to ON and configure the following settings to enable the Agent Scan Merge option for this profile.

Ports

The merged scan results are stored with a unique Correlation ID. For scanners to capture this Correlation ID include customized ports in the option profile. Ensure that the ports listed for the profile are not used by any other service in your environment.

If you select the Bind All option, the service tries to connect to all the listed ports. Else service just tries to connect to the lowest free port among those specified.

On-Premise Detection

Provide at least one of the parameter values for this option. Setting the IP Address Range as 0.0.0.0/0 enables the scan merge feature for all Cloud Agent hosts associated with this profile at all times.

You can specify the following parameters using this option.

- IP Address Range: Provide the IP Address range to specify the agent hosts to enable the scan merge option.

- Gateway: Specify the gateway for agent hosts to enable the scan merge option for them.

- Subnet Mask: The Subnet Mask is used to identify the Network ID and Host ID of an agent host. Provide the Subnet Mask for your assets to merge their scan result data.

- DNS Suffix Regex: DNS is used to identify a resource on the internet. You can use this DNS suffix to enable the scan merge option for the network assets.
