Post Installation Steps
After installation, Cloud Agent connects to the Qualys Cloud Platform and provisions itself. The Cloud Agent starts the inventory scan and gives you the asset discovery result in a few minutes.
The first host assessment scan takes some time. The subsequent scans are completed as soon as the new host metadata is uploaded to Qualys Cloud Platform.
The Qualys Cloud Agent runs in the background and requires no user interaction. Hence do not launch the Cloud Agent application manually.
