Proxy Configuration using CAR Library Script

Qualys Cloud Agent for Windows supports proxy configuration using library scripts available in Custom Assessment and Remediation (CAR) application. Using library scripts can help you automate your proxy configuration workflows.

Perform the following steps to configure the proxy using custom CAR scripts.

1. In the CAR application, navigate to Library > Library window.
2. Locate the scripts available for Qualys Cloud Agent.
   
   
3. In the Cloud Agent script library, select the Configuration script for Windows Cloud Agent.
   
   
4. From the available Configuration scripts, select the proxy configuration script.
5. In the Quick Actions menu, click Import. The Import Script window is displayed.
   
   
6. In the Basic Details window, provide the details, such as Name, Category, Type of Script, and Subtype.
7. Select the Import script in approved state checkbox.
   
   
8. Click Next. The Add Parameter Value window opens.
   
   
9. Click Import. The script is successfullty imported.
10. In the Quick Actions menu, click View Imported Scripts to view the imported scripts. These imported scripts can be used for proxy configuration.
