- Which organizations/institutions/enterprises/companies can use/leverage the Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration?
Ans: The Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration is available for all organizations with an active Bring Your Own License (BYOL ) type Qualys subscription. - Can I activate other Qualys modules/applications for my assets?
Ans: Yes, you can activate multiple Qualys modules/applications for your assets, such as Vulnerability Management (VM), Policy Compliance (PC), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), Indication of Compromise (IOC), Patch Management (PM), Asset Inventory, and so on. However, only VM security findings are displayed in Security Command Center in Google Cloud, if you have configured it with Qualys. - What operating systems (OS)/platforms are supported for the Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration?
Ans: The Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration currently supports only Linux and Windows platforms. Click here to see the supported Windows and Linux platforms. Refer to Supported Operating Systems to view the platform supported by Google Cloud OS configuration. - How Cloud Agent upgrades/updates are handled on Qualys Cloud Agent—GCP Marketplace integration?
Ans: The Cloud Agent upgrades are made in the original source. These upgrades will also be available for all the customer-specific storage buckets created during the Cloud Agent configuration in GCP Marketplace. Even though the original source is in sync with customer-specific storage buckets, Qualys notifies Google of any upgrades in the original source. This helps Google to trigger manual sync of customer-specific storage buckets with updated Qualys Cloud Agent installers. - Does the Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration supports proxy and Qualys Gateway Service (QGS)?
Ans: No, this integration does not support the proxy configuration and QGS during the deployment of Cloud Agent. However, you can configure proxy, after the Cloud Agent is installed. - Does the Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration supports Qualys Private Cloud Platform (PCP)?
Ans: No, the Qualys Cloud Agent — GCP Marketplace integration does not support Qualys PCP. Instead, you can use the Qualys Cloud Shared Platform for Cloud Agent deployment.
