Some things to know
- Check to be sure the host machine is online.
- You might need to manually update the Cloud Agent as described below.
You should do a manual update only if the Cloud Agent hasn't synced with the Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform in the past 24 hours AND the Cloud Agent version is 1.0.582.0 or lower.
Steps to Manually Reinstall Agent
- Find the agent's activation key on the Activation Keys tab.
- Hover over the activation key and select Install Agent. This starts the wizard and walks you through downloading the latest Cloud Agent version.
- Run the installer on your host from an elevated command prompt, or use group policy or a systems management tool.
Your agent should start connecting to our Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform. We would expect you to see your first asset discovery results in a few minutes. Click here to troubleshoot. - Return to the Cloud Agent UI and go to the Agents tab. You can safely remove the agent with the older version. Hover over the agent and select Uninstall Agent.
- Have VM and/or PC? Make sure your hosts are secure and properly configured. Just activate your agents for vulnerability scanning (VM), compliance scanning (PC), or both. Your options will depend on your account settings.
