Clone Configuration Profile

You can create a clone of the configuration profile from the Cloud Agent user interface. This avoids manually setting up the configuration profile and reduces the scope for mistakes.

Perform the following steps to create a clone of the configuration profile.

1. In the Cloud Agent user interface, navigate to Configuration > Configuration Profiles.

2. Select a configuration profile that you want to clone.

3. In the Quick Actions menu, click Save As. The window to create a clone of the configuration profile opens.

4. Enter the name for the cloned configuration profile.

5. (Optional) You can also set the cloned configuration profile as the default profile for a subscription. Select the Set this as default config profile for the subscription checkbox to make it a default profile. 

6. Click Save As to save the cloned configuration profile.

You can also create a clone of a configuration profile while editing it. While saving the edited configuration profile, click Save As and the windows to create a clone appears.

  Important: The applied tags and Cloud Agents assigned to the configuration profile are not applied to the cloned configuration profile.      You have to assign the cloned profile to the Cloud Agents and tags manually.
