New Features

Support for New Qualys Applications- EDR and EPP

With this release of Qualys Cloud Agent for Linux ARM, we have added support for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP).  Qualys EDR and EPP allow you to monitor your security profile, detect vulnerabilities, and take corrective actions to protect your networks and endpoints.

 You can enable the EDR application for your Cloud Agent while creating a configuration profile. 

Qualys EDR provides you with the following features:

• Monitor system files
• Monitor processes running on assets
• Monitor creation, updates, renaming, and deletion of system files

Endpoint Detection and Response 3.5.1

Issue Addressed

No notable and important issues were reported for this release.

Known Issues, Limitations, and Workaround

The following notable issues are observed for this release:

• Qualys Cloud Agent for Linux ARM does not support the EDR Remote Shell option. You would not be able to initiate a session for remote assets from the EDR user interface. This feature will be available for Linux ARM Cloud Agents version 6.3 and above.
• Qualys Cloud Agent for Linux ARM generates an HTTP error when launching the AgentID services. To troubleshoot this issue, restart your Cloud Agent.
