Release 2.4.1
January 30, 2025
What's New?
Ability to Delete Invalid Asset Jobs
In this release, we have introduced a new feature that allows you to delete asset jobs with the MANIFEST_EXPIRED and MANIFEST_ASSIGNMENT_FAILED statuses. These jobs no longer move to the next status, leading to unnecessary clutter in the system. Deleting them allows you to streamline workflows and focus on the active asset jobs.
Additionally, you can delete multiple invalid asset jobs at once, saving time and improving efficiency.
Ability to filter Asset Jobs by Execution Status
You can now filter the asset jobs based on the Execution Passed or Execution Failed status on the asset details page. This enables you to filter and delete the asset jobs that are in failed status.
The execution status is set to Execution Passed by default.
Ability to filter Jobs by Script Category
We have introduced a new option to filter jobs by Script Category in the Jobs tab, making it easier to find and manage the required jobs. This allows you to search for jobs more efficiently and manage your tasks more effectively.
All script categories are selected by default except PC Remediation in the Filters list. This is because PC Remediation includes a large number of jobs, and if selected, a significant amount of jobs are listed, causing the other jobs to be displayed over many more pages.
Improvement in Search Token Containing Colon
You can now search queries that include colons, such as IPv6 addresses(for example: 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334). To ensure accurate results, enclose the value is enclosed within single quotes ('), backticks (`), or double quotes (").
This enhancement improves the accuracy and effectiveness of searching for network addresses and similar data.
API Enhancements
We have introduced a new API to delete invalid asset jobs and added new parameters to the Scripts and configuration-based APIs. For more information on these APIs, refer to the Qualys Custom Assessment and Remediation 2.4.1 API Release Notes.
