Custom Assessment and Remediation Release 2.9

Customize Uninstallation Scope for Software Package on Windows
You now have granular control over software package uninstallations on Windows systems. You can choose to uninstall a software package for a specific user space or uninstall it from all locations in the system. This provision helps you manage assets securely and prevents unintended system-wide modifications.
In the create or edit software package workflow, navigate to the Package Details page. On the Package Details page, select Windows as the Platform and Uninstall as the Package Action. You can view the two options under Uninstallation Scope: All Locations and User Space Only. Select either All Locations or User Space Only.

By default, the Uninstallation Scope is set to All Locations. When you do not select an Uninstallation Scope, the system automatically uninstalls the software package from all locations within the system.
For more details, refer to Software Packages section.
