What's New?
Update in Dashboard Widgets
We have introduced an enhancement that improves the functionality and usability of the Dashboard. Now, when you are defining your query settings for Widgets on the Dashboard, There is an option Group By Sources to refine your query further. You can enter your query and align it with relevant Sources like EASM, IP Scanner, Agent, WAS using this Group By.
You can see the result of your query combined with a Group By Sources filter. This feature is particularly useful when you want to categorize data more structured.
For example, you are searching for expired certificates and also want to identify all the sources associated with them.
By placing your query as 'certificate:(expiryGroup: Expired)' and 'Group By as Sources, you can get a comprehensive list of all expired certificates categorized by their sources. This new functionality not only enhances data visualization but also streamlines the process of data analysis on the Dashboard.
Improvement to Reflect Correct Services for Port 443 and 3389
With this release, we have improved an important issue that was affecting the accuracy of service identification in our reports. Previously, users have noticed that the reports incorrectly identified services, specifically marking the service on port number 443 as an HTTP service and the service on port number 3389 as CredSSP. To rectify this, we have made relevant code changes. Now, after the update, the CertView Scan accurately identifies the service on port number 443 as HTTPS and the service on port number 3389 as RDP. This improvement ensures that the reports generated reflect a more accurate representation of the network services.
Additionally, for those conducting VM scans, it is important to include QIDs 82023 and 82004 in your Option Profile. This step is crucial for achieving the correct results, and failing to do so might result in the wrong identification of services as HTTP.
The enhancement affects only the most recent scan; previous scans remain unchanged. To see the latest updates in the reports, run the scan again.
