Release 4.0.0.0

November 26, 2024

What's New?

Extended Support for Authenticated Scan

With this release, we have extended support for authentication scans. We now support host authentication (trusted scanning), allowing it to log into each target system during scans. This feature enables in-depth security assessments and enhances visibility into each system's security posture. By conducting authenticated scans, users can expect more accurate results with significantly fewer false positives.

Authentication is optional but highly recommended for optimal results. Your credentials are secure. They are solely used for READ access to your system and are managed securely by our service. Access is only permitted for the duration of the scan.

API Features and Enhancements

With this release, we have extended support for OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect Authentication Standards. This new update is beneficial to users, as it eliminates the need for users to provide a username and password and system-generated JWT tokens. This streamlines access by allowing users to use their own tokens, thereby bypassing the hassle associated with the username, password, and system-generated token. As a result, users can access the API gateway more efficiently and with greater ease.
