Certificate View Release 4.3 - New Features and Updates
April 14, 2025
Enhanced Searchability of Certificates Based on Issuer Name
With this release, you can search certificates using issuer names. Previously, you could use the token certificate:(issuer.name: ) only when the complete path of the certificates was available. Now, you can search for a certificate using the issuer name for all the certificates.
Benefits
- Filtering certificates directly by issuer name simplifies and speeds up the search process, allowing to find relevant certificates more efficiently.
- Ensuring that you can locate certificates even when the certificate chain is incomplete.
The following image shows that we can search for this specific certificate using the issuer's name, even without a complete certificate chain.
New Tokens for Alerting
You can set up an alert using these tokens to refer to the latest certificates or assets, making sure your reports are always current without needing to do it manually.
To know the details of the tokens, refer to the following table.
Name | Description | Example |
---|---|---|
certificate:(lastFound | Search for certificates last found on the specified date or in the specified date range. | certificate:(lastFound: [2024-06-15 .. 2025-01-30]) |
asset:(lastFound | Search for assets last found on the specified date or in the specified date range | asset:(lastFound: '2024-12-14') |
You can use the tokens in the Rule Query section while creating or editing a rule.
