With perimeter scans integrated with the Connector application, you can scan publicly-exposed EC2 or Azure instances that are discovered by the connectors using Qualys external scanners.
You can define the schedule to launch the perimeter scan automatically in the Cloud Perimeter Scan - Global Scan Configuration or customized scanning in the Scan Settings page while creating a connector.
In addition to the automated perimeter scan jobs, you can launch a perimeter scan on your assets manually by using the Run Perimeter Scan option.
To launch the cloud perimeter scan, go to the connectors list, hover over a connector, and select Run Perimeter Scan from the Actions menu.
