Run Perimeter Scan

With perimeter scans integrated with the Connector application, you can scan publicly-exposed EC2 or Azure instances discovered by the connectors using Qualys external scanners.
While creating a connector, you can define the schedule to launch the perimeter scan automatically in the Cloud Perimeter Scan - Global Scan Configuration or customized scanning in the Scan Settings page.

In addition to the automated perimeter scan jobs, you can manually launch a perimeter scan on your assets using the Run Perimeter Scan option.

You can only run Perimeter Scans once every 4 hours for schedule and on-demand scans.

To launch the cloud perimeter scan, go to the connectors list, hover over a connector, and select Run Perimeter Scan from the Actions menu.
