The Qualys Cluster Sensor 1.6.0 release introduces an enhancement that focuses on providing additional support, improving performance, along with some bug fixes.
Support for Prometheus Command Line Interface
The Cluster Sensor now includes enhanced performance observability by exposing detailed metrics through Prometheus. This capability provides real-time visibility into CPU and memory usage, enabling improved monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
The metrics are:
- Automatically collected by the existing performance monitoring package
- Exposed via the Prometheus metrics endpoint
- Available for integration with dashboards and alerting systems
By default, the Prometheus support is disabled. It can be enabled through the Unified Helm chart using this parameter - preemptionPolicy

Tag-based Sensor Profile Assignment for Cluster Sensor
Cluster Sensor now supports tag-based sensor profile assignment, enabling more flexible and scalable deployment configurations.
You can assign tags directly to the Cluster Sensor during deployment, allowing the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform to automatically map the sensor to the appropriate sensor profile.
To support this feature, the following new parameter is introduced in the Unified Helm Chart.
clusterSensor.tags Along with this, a dedicated tag prefix, cluster_sensor_profile_, is introduced. This prefix is used to map the Cluster Sensor to a specific sensor profile.

Only one special tag with cluster_sensor_profile_ prefix is allowed per deployment.
