Release 1.44

- Qualys strongly recommends upgrading your Qualys Container Security Sensor to 1.44.0 version to avail the latest features and enhancements. 
- Ensure that you also update your existing Sensor Deployment Yaml files with the latest Yaml files published with 1.44.0 release.

Enhancement in CIS Docker Compliance Scan for Containers

Earlier, Qualys Container Security started supporting CIS Docker Compliance for Images. With this release, Qualys Container Security Sensor now supports CIS Docker Compliance Benchmark v1.7.0 scans for containers across all runtimes.
Previously, CIS Docker compliance scanning was limited to Docker-based environments only. With CS Sensor 1.44, this capability has been extended to include the following runtimes.

• Containerd
• Podman
• CRI‑O

Support of Container Static Scanning in Docker

Earlier, CS Sensor used to support only Dynamic scan for containers. This release also offers Static Scan for containers.

Container Static Scanning is now supported on sensors running with the storage driver: Docker containerd-snapshotter

If your container scanning is currently disabled, please contact Qualys Support to enable and start using Container Static Scans.

Issue Addressed

The following issue has been fixed with this release.

Registry Sensor (QCS Sensor)	Fixed a bug that prevented registry scan jobs from completing successfully when only OS scanning was enabled, and the sensor was running in Dynamic Scanning with Static Scan as Fallback mode.
