K8s Deployment Attributes in 'Container Vulnerability' Report

Without deployment details, it can be difficult to trace the origins of a vulnerable container, as Kubernetes containers are ephemeral (short-lived). Qualys Container Security now provides the Kubernetes (K8s) Deployment details in your Container Vulnerability report. Using these details, you can quickly and precisely map a vulnerable container to its K8s deployment. You can also prioritize remediation based on the deployment details.

To support K8s Deployment attributes, Qualys Container Security has introduced DEPLOYMENT UUID and DEPLOYMENT NAME Kubernetes attributes in the Container Vulnerability report.
