Uninstalling Malware Protection
You can easily uninstall the Malware Protection by updating the configuration profile for the Cloud Agent. Perform the following steps to uninstall malware protection:
- Navigate to the Cloud Agent application > Configuration Profiles tab.
- Open the profile and navigate to the EDR tab to edit the settings.
- Disable the Enable Qualys Anti-malware protection for this profile option and save the changes.
The Malware Protection module uninstallation is triggered. After successful uninstallation, the tray icon is removed from the taskbar of the endpoint asset.

To check the uninstallation status, go to EDR > Assets. In the search bar, type antimalware.status:UnInstalled.
