Ransomware Mitigation

Stay protected with our new "Ransomware Mitigation" feature in Qualys Antimalware. This feature is designed to detect and prevent ransomware, recover encrypted files, and secure local processes and remotely accessed network paths. You can access this feature in the Anti-malware Profile under Behavioral Scan.

With our EDR anti-ransomware, you can selectively exclude folders, process names, and remote IP addresses from monitoring for suspicious activity. This lets you strategically direct your security resources to safeguard the most critical areas of your network.

Recovering Encrypted Files

You can quickly recover encrypted files in just two simple steps:

Improved Onboarding Experience 

We have updated our platform to improve your onboarding experience. Now, accessing and using the Third-Party Anti-malware Removal Tool setting is simpler. This setting has been included in the Cloud Agent Configuration Profile. Go to Cloud Agent > Agent Management > Configuration Profiles > New Profile. This setting is supported by Windows Cloud Agent versions 5.7 and later. 

This setting is also available in the Anti-malware Setup in the EDR UI for Cloud Agent versions below v5.7.
