View Supported Connectors
ETM easily connects your third-party vendors to import the vendor security and risk management data to Qualys for TruRisk analysis. These integrations help you consolidate vendor information, enrich TruRisk scoring, and gain a unified view of your overall security posture.
By automating data flows from external vendors, you improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure more accurate, timely insights.
Why Use Connectors
- Centralized data management
Gather all security and risk insights from multiple vendors in one place for easier tracking and reporting.
- Improved visibility across multiple vendors
Understand vendor‑specific findings across diverse tools without switching between platforms.
- Streamlined risk assessment
Integrate findings directly into ETM’s TruRisk scoring, enabling consistent and comparative analysis.
- Reduced Manual Effort
Automate large‑scale data imports, saving time and lowering the chance of human error.
- Enhanced reporting capabilities
Get unified dashboards and reports combining internal and vendor-based data.
Connector Types
ETM supports two primary types of connectors, each designed for different integration needs:
CSV Connectors
CSV-based connectors allow you to upload data files exported from your vendors.
How they work:
- Map your vendor’s CSV fields to ETM fields during one‑time configuration.
- After setup, simply upload the CSV file anytime you want to import data.
- No API or system-level integration required.
Best for: vendors that provide exported reports but do not offer APIs.
API Connectors
API connectors automatically fetch data from vendors using their native APIs.
How they work:
- Establish an authenticated connection with the vendor system.
- ETM regularly pulls new or updated findings.
- Data is processed and mapped automatically.
Best for: vendors that support API‑based data access and frequent updates.
The next section of the documentation provides a detailed list of currently supported:
- CSV connector formats
- Vendor API connectors
Each entry includes configuration requirements, mapping details, and data import guidelines.
The CSV Connector configuration is a one-time activity. After successfully configuring the connector, you can upload a CSV file every time you run the connector and your data is imported without any further action required.
