App Scheduled Jobs

All of the App Scheduled Jobs are listed under Advanced > App Scheduled Jobs. class schedule

We support the following App-Scheduled Jobs. Each job is described and its function and frequency of execution. However, you can always update or change the frequency of scheduled jobs according to your needs.

Auto Approval Processor - Checks the records to know which schedule it belongs to and processes it further. Only records that have auto-approval enabled are processed by the Auto Approval Processor.
Download Processor - This process picks the records of type Download with Queued status from the sync queue and parses the XML. The number of records to be picked in a batch is defined by the Size of Download batch setting in the Properties section. Currently, we support three download processors that work in parallel to speed up the process.
Fetch Qualys Asset Groups Schedule - This schedule is executed once daily by default. Once executed, it syncs all of the Asset Groups in Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform for use within the App. You may run this more than once daily if you frequently generate Asset Groups in the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform.
Fetch Qualys Asset Tags Schedule - This schedule is executed once daily by default. Once executed, it syncs all Asset Tags in Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform for use within the App. You may run this more than once daily if you frequently generate Asset Tags in Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform.
Migration 1.x - By default, this job is deactivated. The purpose of this job is only to migrate approved assets that belong to the Computer Extended table and need to be in production tables. To know more about the complete migration process, refer to Migration Support.
Qualys Sync Queue Cleanup Job: This job clears the Sync Queue records with 'SUCCESS' status (older than 30 days) and records with 'ERROR' status (older than 60 days) on a daily schedule.
Qualys Terminate Schedule Logs - Maintains a log of terminated transactions because the time required to execute them exceeds.
Software Catalog Sync - This schedule fetches Software Catalog records from Qualys to ServiceNow. By default, it is executed every 4 hours. Once executed, it syncs all the Software Catalog records from the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform. You may run this more than the default frequency (4 hours) if Software Catalog details get updated frequently in Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform.
Uploader - Picks the records of type Upload with Queued status from Sync Queue and sends it to Qualys.
Sync Software Catalog - This can sync the software catalog details separately using Qualys software catalog APIs. This helps in reducing the payload for asset list API.
Sync Certificate - Syncs the SSL certificate and its relationship with assets from Qualys to ServiceNow.
