System properties added in v2.0.0 release to finetune the integration
As of v2.0.0, there are three new system properties that have been added to give more control to the user and tweak the retry mechanism. The system properties with its meaning are as below:
x_qual5_conf_comp.threshold_retry_count
This property is applicable only to Evaluated Resources integration. The number mentioned for this property defines how many retries would be done for a given accountId-controlId combination of a failed API call in the next integration runs. For example, if the property is set to 3, the failed API calls would be tried 3 times in the next 3 integration runs only if the API call keeps on failing.
x_qual5_conf_comp.MAX_CONSECUTIVE_FAILURES
This property is applicable to only Evaluated Resources integration. The number mentioned for this property defines how many accountId-controlId combinations would be tried consecutively in case of API call failures for all status codes except 200 and 400.
x_qual5_conf_comp.failed_api_batch_size
This property is applicable only to Evaluated Resources integration. The number mentioned for this property defines how many records from Qualys API Request table would be batched for retries. Ideally, this property doesn’t require any change; however, it can be changed under the circumstances where too many API call failures are seen, and the integration needs to catch up to onboard the data from the Qualys TotalCloud platform.
