Deploying Azure Connector
Configure Microsoft Azure connectors for gathering resource information from your Microsoft Azure account. You can create Azure Connector from AssetView and CloudView, which is explained after the pre-requisites. It just takes a couple of minutes.
Let us see what permissions are needed to create an Azure connector.
Prerequisites
Before you create an Azure connector, ensure that you have the following permissions:
- Assign Azure Active Directory permissions to register an application with your Azure Active Directory
- Checking Azure Subscription Permissions to assign the application to a role in your Azure subscription
Assign Azure Active Directory permissions
If your account is assigned to the User role, but the app registration setting is restricted to admin users, you are not permitted to register new apps. In such a case, ask your administrator to assign you to enable users to register apps.
Checking Azure Subscription Permissions
Refer to the Azure documentation to ensure you have the required Azure subscription permissions.
