Install Application

Perform the following steps to install the application:

1. Log in to QRadar and go to the Admin tab.
2. Click Extensions Management.
3. Click Add and upload the extensions .zip file.
4. Replace or skip the existing contents with the extension.

   Before installing the application, check if the app's content is correct.

5. Click Install.
   Installation of our app can be done considering these two scenarios if the you want to use the app in a multitenant environment-

   • For all 4 Qualys VM for v7.5.0 GA+ the security profiles. In this case, to avoid the case of multiple appearances of our app's non-admin profiles, you need to delete the shared instance from the QRadar Assistant app and manually create separate instances for the desired security profile. For more information, refer to Create an Instance.
   • If you are installing Qualys VM for QRadar - 7.5.0 GA+ by unchecking Start default instance for each App checkbox it installs the app without creating any instances for it. In this case, you need to create the instances needed for the desired security profile. For more information, refer to Create and Configure Log Source.
6. Once installation is completed, refresh your QRadar user interface.
7. See the tab Qualys VM in the top menu.
8. Deploy changes once app installation is completed.
