Install the Application

Perform the following steps to install the application:

  1. Visit the ServiceNow Online Store.
  2. Search for Qualys WAS App, and click Contact Seller.

    Your Technical Account Manager (TAM) contacts you, and then ServiceNow provides the app for an instance of your choice. The app then appears in your instance's Downloads list.

  3. Click Install to start using the app.
  4. In the Search field, type Qualys WAS and select Qualys WAS App from the left pane.

After you are done, a new module appears in your ServiceNow instance.

Upgrade the Application

Perform the following steps to upgrade the application:

  1. In the ServiceNow application, navigate to System Applications > All Apps.
  2. Search for the application you want to update. You can see the version of the application that is installed currently.
  3. If a new version is available, it is displayed in the drop-down list. Select the version you want to upgrade to and click Update.
  • If you have upgraded the application to v1.2.4, only AVITs added after the upgrade are shown with the new Qualys-specific source links. All the older AVITs in the Application Vulnerable Items table display the older links.
  • If you want to update the new Qualys-specific source link for all the AVITs, re-run the Qualys Web application Vulnerable Item integration with the blank Start time
