Deactivating a User

Go to Account > Users, and click the edit icon on the user's row to edit the user's settings. Select the Deactivate User check box and then click Save.  Deactivated users cannot log in to the PCI module.

You cannot deactivate the user in the following scenarios:

- if the user under consideration is the current user

- if the user under consideration is a primary contact for an account

In this case, the Deactivate User check box is unavailable, and relevant message is displayed.

What if the user has VIP?

If you deactivate a user who is using a VIP login credential, the user's VIP credential is automatically deactivated. If the user is sharing a VIP credential with other users, the VIP credential remains active for those users.

Can I reactivate the user account?

Yes. Simply clear (uncheck) the Deactivate User check box.
