Patch QID Mapping

Earlier, the patch-QID logic for a patch was based only on the CVEs, and the count was shown accordingly under the Associated QIDs column.

Now, as part of the Patch-QID mapping logic improvement, the QID will be applied to a patch only if the CVE of the patch and the QID match along with the product and vendor of patches and QID.

Refer to the following example, where you can see that the count shown under the Associated QIDs column is decreased.

Example: Before the patch-QID logic enhancement

QID count was higher.

Example: After the patch-QID logic enhancement

QID count is lowered.

Note: In some cases, you might see an increase in the count as a result of the enhanced patch-QID logic.
