Sensor Auto Upgrade Status

You can now view the upgrade status of your sensors during automatic upgrades, helping you track upgrade progress and identify upgrade-related interruptions. The sensor status is displayed on the Sensors tab.

During the upgrade, the sensor is temporarily unavailable and does not perform sensing operations. After the upgrade completes, the sensor automatically returns to its previous operational state. For example, if the sensor was in the Sensing state before the upgrade started, it returns to the Sensing state once the upgrade finishes.

Appliances with version 2.1.0 are automatically upgraded to version 4.0.0. Appliances running versions older than 2.1.0, such as 1.3.8 and 2.0.0, are not eligible for automatic upgrade. To upgrade to version 4.0.0, you must manually download and deploy a new sensor using the 4.0.0 image. When the new appliance is deployed, your existing asset inventory and network traffic data from older appliance versions are automatically retained, even if the old sensors are deleted and deregistered.

Support Logs Collection for CDR Appliances

NPS now supports collecting support logs from CDR appliances. This helps Qualys to more effectively troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to CDR appliances.
