Release 3.10
March 05, 2025
What’s New?
QGS 3.10 brings updates to the Appliance OS Versions to enhance system security.
Added Support for CAMS/QGS Application Monitor
With this release, we have introduced support for application monitoring, this feature sends email notification on appliance becoming inactive.
Up to 10 email IDs can be configured per appliance during the configuration process. This gives you flexibility in managing who receives notifications about the appliance status. The email IDs can be easily edited or updated as needed, providing dynamic control over the recipients of these alerts.
Appliance Monitor Configuration
You can configure the Email ID for Application monitoring for registered appliances from QGS application.
Navigate to QGS > Select any of your registered appliance > Configuration > Manage Alert
Manage Alert is an optional field, user can add email ID in case they want monitoring for that specific appliance
A new column, Alert Email, is added to the QGS app that displays the configured email IDs for each appliance. This enhancement enables you to quickly view and verify the email addresses associated with each appliance, ensuring better visibility and management of the notification recipients.
After you have enabled appliance monitoring using appliance configuration from the QGS application, and appliance goes to Inactive state, you receive the following mail.
This mail notifies you that the appliance is in Inactive state with Appliance UUID and Friendly name details.
Extended Authorized IP support for Cache and Patch Mode
With this release, we have extended the authorized IP support for your Proxy port to both the Cache and Patch modes.
As part of this extended support, the Authorized IP section has been moved from the Configure the Proxy Port page and added in Security Configuration page
The Configure the Proxy Port does not have the input box for Authorized IPs as shown below.
You can find it by proceed to the Authorized IPs page.
Updates to the Minimum Requirement for Secondary Disk
With this release, QGS has reduced the minimum requirement of secondary disk from 250 GB to 150 GB.
This is applicable only for newly created secondary disks. Truncation for older 250 GB disk is not supported.
Trying to create a secondary disk less than 150 GB with Patch/CDN mode enabled results in an error specifying the minimum requirement. Refer below.
