Personalize the Scanner 

Personalize the Scanner by Using Scanner Console. To use the Split Network scanner, you must enable the WAN interface from the Scanner Console.

Also, you can configure Proxy and Native VLAN on the LAN interface.

Once you are done with scanner network configuration, enter the 14 digit PERSONALIZATION code you obtained from Qualys

1. Click Enter personalization code and type the personalization code received in Step 1: Add your Virtual Scanner.

   

   The scanner appliance connects with the Qualys Cloud Platform to complete the registration. The appliance also downloads the latest software and vulnerability signatures.

   

   Once all the packages are downloaded, you see the message 'Welcome to the Qualys Scanner Console,' along with the appliance name and assigned IP address.
