Check Scanner Status

Perform the following steps to check the scanner status:

  1. Log in to Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform. Choose the VM/VMDR app from the module selector.
  2. Go to Scans > Appliances.
    Your new scanner appears on the appliances list.

 After you add a new scanner appliance, the Qualys user interface can take a few minutes to update. Refresh your browser periodically to ensure you see the most up-to-date information.

UI Field Description
A The icon ico_appliance_connected shows that activation is complete. Now, you can start internal scans.
The busy icon is greyed out until you launch a scan using this appliance.
B This  icon indicates that it is a physical scanner appliance.s
C Latest software versions - these are installed as part of the activation process.
The available capacity is 100% until you launch a scan. You can come back and check this at any time.
