View Scanner Status

To check the scanner appliance status, perform the following steps from the VM/VMDR app:

1. Go to Scans > Appliances.
2. Select your scanner to see details in the preview pane.

The icon  tells you the scanner is connected to Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform, and you are ready to start scanning.

After you add a new appliance, the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform can take a few minutes to update. Refresh your browser periodically to see the latest details.

Option Profile Settings

To set the option profile, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to VM/VMDR app.
2. Go to Scans > Option Profiles.
3. To edit the profile you want to use for offline scanning, click Edit from Quick Actions.
   
4.  On the edit Option Profile page, select the Option profile Title tab and select the Make this option profile available to all offline scanners checkbox.
   It helps to save you time later. These profiles are ready to use for your first scan.
