Clear App Data of Web Applications

Clearing a web application removes its scan and detection data from your subscription. Findings from previously completed scans are removed from the scan history and are not included in new reports. The web application itself is retained in your subscription.

What is Removed

  • The scans and detections of the web application, including the scan entries listed on the Scans tab.

  • If a scan was launched against several web applications, the cleared web application is removed from that scan's target list. If the cleared web application was the only target of the scan, the scan itself is removed.

What is Retained

  • Scan schedules and report schedules of the web application, including their target and exclusion lists. Existing schedules remain active and can launch new scans.

  • The web application and its configuration.

To remove the web application itself, use Purge instead. When a web application is purged, the schedules that are left without a target are deactivated. See Purge Web Assets.
