Edit Host
Edit host information to specify how hosts should be tracked, assign ownership responsibilities, provide values for the three user-defined host attributes and add comments. Whenever host information is edited, the action is logged in the host's action log with the name of the user who performed the action and a time stamp for when the action took place.
Go to Assets > Host Assets. Identify the host you want to edit and select Edit from the Quick Actions menu.
Note: If Asset Group Management Service (AGMS) is enabled for your subscription, you will see the Address Management tab instead of Host Assets. To understand the changes that happen when AGMS is enabled for your subscription, refer to Introducing AGMS.

The owner assumes responsibility for the host. When creating remediation policies and manual tickets, users have the option to automatically assign tickets to the owner.

Provide values for the three user-defined host attributes. Attribute names are initially Location, Function and Asset Tag. Attribute names may have been customized by Managers by going to Assets > Setup > Host Attributes.
