Obtaining Access and Credentials

1. Contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) to obtain your platform URL, initial administrator credentials, and your assigned POD.
2. Log in to your assigned Qualys POD using the URL (for example, qualysguard.qualys.com or qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.com).
3. Immediately change the default password and enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
4. Create a separate account for the Qualys Training & Certification Hub. As covered in the previous section, these credentials are separate from your platform login.

Your subscription includes a Super User account with unrestricted privileges. Protect this account by enforcing MFA and limiting its use to administrative activities. Provision all additional users with the minimum required role.
