Verint Financial Compliance Scan
Verint Financial Compliance (VFC) technology consists of two components for database management.
- VFC Server installed on Windows Server
- Microsoft SQL Server linked to VFC Server
These two components require independent authentication for a successful scan.
Set up Windows Authentication
Create Windows records to allow our service to authenticate to your Windows hosts at scan time.
To create Windows records, go to Scans > Authentication and then go to New > Operating Systems > Windows.
For more information, see the detailed guide on Windows authentication for PC scan using the pat below:
Help > Online Help > Click here to view navigation pane > Host Authentication > Authentication Record > Set up Windows Authentication.
Configure your Scan Option Profile
You choose an option profile with compliance scan settings every time you start a compliance scan. The profile defines the scan parameters for scanning.
To ensure the technology type used for scanning, follow the steps.
- Navigate to Instance Data Collection tag on a new profile being created or an existing profile.
- Under Applications and Other Technologies, select Verint Financial Compliance 9. x.

MS SQL Server Scan
