Primary IP Address Selection for an Asset

The Qualys Cloud Agent uses the logic to select the primary IP address for a specific asset. By default, the IP address of the interface used for agent communication is selected as the primary IP reported to Qualys. A single asset may have multiple Network Interfaces. You can view this in the Portal, which supports all Network Interface Controllers (NICs). 

In the Qualys VMDR module, the Asset Search functionality only supports the primary IP. Thus, searching for any non-primary NIC returns no results. This behavior is an intended feature of VMDR and not a bug.
