Exceptions
Take action
Approve, reject or reopen exceptions. All actions you take will be logged in the history with your name and a time stamp.
Tell us when the exception will expire
Exceptions are temporary when an end date is selected. When the end date passes, the exception status will change to Expired.
Assign to a user
Select a user responsible for this exception. Pick from the list of users with privileges to the host.
Reassign to another user
Select another user with privileges to the host(s). When reassigning multiple exceptions, we'll only list users with access to all of the selected exceptions.
Reopen on change of evidence
If a future scan returns a different value for the control (and the control is still failing), we'll change the exception status from Approved to Pending, and it will need to be re-evaluated and approved again.
