Parameter Sets
A parameter set contains a set of fields and values that you want to inject into the web applications during scanning.
Web Application Scanning uses these parameters when we identify forms and other request parameters used by the web application being scanned.
We provide the parameter set called Initial Parameters. You can create a parameter set with the required settings.
The Parameter Sets tab under Configuration manages all the parameter sets to which you have access.
The tab displays the parameter set name, owner of the parameter set and the tags added for a parameter search.
From the Parameter Sets tab, you can:
A) Create a new parameter set by using the New Parameter Set button. For details, see Create a Parameter Set .
B) Search for parameter sets using QQL (Qualys Query Language) queries. For details, see Search Tokens for Parameter Sets.
C) Use filters in the left pane to search for parameter sets by quick filters and tags added to the parameter set. For details, see Parameter Set - Use Filters.
D) Use Quick Actions to perform the following actions on an individual parameter set:
- Add Comment to Parameter Set
E) Use the Actions menu to take the following actions on multiple parameter sets:
- Add Comment to Parameter Set
F) Use the Search Actions menu to view the recent searches, save search queries added in the search box and manage saved searches.
