To scan web applications in the internal network, you must configure scanner appliances before scanning. You can configure scanner appliances using the VM application. (
The LAN/WAN network settings are defined using the LCD interface (for a physical appliance) or the virtual appliance console. These settings include IP address, netmask, default gateway, and DNS.
The Appliances tab under Configuration manages all the appliances to which you have access.
The Appliances tab displays the appliance name, connectivity status, LAN IP, WAN IP, scanner version, signature version, and tags added to the appliance.
From the Appliance tab, you can:
A) Search for appliances using QQL (Qualys Query Language) queries. For details, see Search Tokens for Scanner Appliance.
B) Use filters in the left pane to search for scanner appliances by quick filters and tags added to the scanner appliances.
C) Use Quick Actions to perform the following actions on a scanner appliance:
D) Use the Actions menu to take the following actions on multiple Scanner Appliances
E) Use the Search Actions menu to view the recent searches, save search queries added in the search box and manage saved searches.
