You can cancel an unfinished scan—single, multiscan, or slice scans.
To cancel a scan, select a scan from the Scan List tab, and from the Quick Actions menu, click Cancel.
The scan is canceled. The status of the scan is displayed as Canceling in the Scan List tab.
To automatically cancel the scan after a defined time, use the Cancel Scan option in the Scan Settings while creating a new scan, slice scan of a multi-scan and a scan schedule, and for a web application's default scan settings.
