Retest Vulnerability Findings

You can retest the findings for individual vulnerabilities by launching a scan to test the selected findings.

Note: To launch the retest scan, the findings should be Qualys findings that are non-ignored, in the vulnerabilities or sensitive content category. The findings should be in user's scope. To launch the retest scan on multiple findings, the findings should belong to the same web application and with the same or different QID.

Retest a Single Detection

To retest, in the Detections tab, select the vulnerability that you want to retest, and click Retest from the Quick Actions menu.

Retest Multiple Detections

You can retest the findings for vulnerabilities by launching a scan to test the selected multiple findings. You can club the multiple findings that belong to the same or different QIDs but the same web application and launch a retest scan in a single batch.

In the Detections tab, you can use quick filters in the left pane and QQL tokens to view all findings of the same web application. The Retest option is not enabled if you include Under_Retest, Cancle_Retest, Burp, or Bugcrowd findings in the selection to launch the scan.

The selected findings are displayed on the Detection page, with the status as Retesting, Retested, Under_Retest, No_Retest, Canceling, or Canceled.

To cancel the retest, select the detections on the Detections page, and in the Actions menu, click Cancel Retest.
