Quick Filters for Activation Keys

The activation key Quick Filters are the predefined search queries. You can use these search queries to quickly sort the activation key list based on various activation key parameters.

The following are the different activation key search filters:

Status-Based Search

Activation key has two statuses — Active and Expired

  • Active Keys: The active keys can be used to onboard new Cloud Agents. The Active count shows the number of activation keys available for onboarding new Cloud Agents. An unlimited activation key always has the status of Active.
  • Expired Keys: When the specified usage limit for an activation key is reached, it is marked as Expired. The expired activation key cannot be used for onboarding new Cloud Agents, but the Cloud Agents that are installed using an expired key continue to function as expected.

State Based Search

You can find the activation keys in two states — Enabled and Disabled.

  • Enabled Keys: Enabled keys can install new Cloud Agents. The Enabled count shows the number of activation key that can be used for installing new agents.
  • Disabled Keys: Disabled keys cannot be used to install new Cloud Agents. A disabled activation key can be re-enabled.

Key Type Search

There are mainly two types of activation keys — Unlimited and Limited Keys.

  • Unlimited Keys: An unlimited key has no usage limit specified. By default, we generate an unlimited key.
  • Limited Keys: When an activation key usage is limited by the number of Cloud Agents to be installed or the expiry date, it's called a limited key. You can specify the usage limit by Cloud Agent Count, by Expiry Date, or by both.

Search Based on Purchase Date

This filter sorts the activation keys based on their purchase date. You can find the activation keys that were purchased in the last seven (7) days, fifteen (15) days, and thirty (30) days.

Search Based on Expiry Date

This filter sorts the activation keys based on their expiry date. You can find the activation keys that were expired in the last seven (7) days, fifteen (15) days, thirty (30) days, and sixty (60) days.
