Cloud Agent Requirements

• We support the following platforms: Windows, Linux/Unix (.rpm), Linux (.deb), BSD(.txz), Apple Mac OSX (.pkg)
• Your hosts must be able to reach your Qualys Cloud Platform (or the Qualys Private Cloud Platform) over HTTPS port 443. Go to Help > About to see the URL your hosts need to access.
• To install Windows Agent you must have local administrator privileges on your hosts.
• Proxy configuration is supported: To install the Linux, BSD, Unix, and MacOS Cloud Agents, you must have root privileges, non-root with Sudo root delegation, or non-root with sufficient privileges (VM scan only).
