Editing Scripts

You can edit a script as long as it is not approved and executed. You cannot edit a script once it is approved; you can only edit other details of the script such as the script name, its description and severity.

The status of the updated script does not change when you edit it.

  2. Edit the required fields such as Severity, Category, Threshold and so on and click Update.
  3. To enable or disable the sync in the Scripts tab, select a script, and from the Quick Actions menu, click Edit.
  4. In the Edit script flow, for an approved GitHub Imported script, in the Script Details, turn on the Sync the Script with GitHub toggle. When enabled, any changes made to the script on GitHub automatically update the script on the Qualys platform, even if it is approved.
