A distribution group is simply a group of users/email addresses. Add one or more distribution groups to a monitoring profile to tell us who should be notified of alerts for the profile. You can also manage distribution groups in the VM application by selecting VM/VMDR > Users > Distribution Groups.
Enter a descriptive name for this group of users/email addresses.
Include email addresses for users in the subscription (select users from the list) and email addresses outside the subscription by typing them into the field provided.
This is where you enter email addresses for users outside of the subscription.
