The AWS connectors with cross-account role uses Qualys accounts. If you do not wish to use Qualys account, you can use the base account instead to set up the AWS connectors. Learn more
To create an AWS connector, follow the steps as detailed in the Create AWS Connectors.
Once the connector is created, you can edit, delete, or disable the connectors, view assets and resources in the Asset Inventory and CloudView application. You can run connector manually to synchronize your EC2 assets or run perimeter scan manually to scan the publicly-exposed cloud assets.
You can create accounts in your organization and invite existing accounts to join the organization. Qualys lets you set up an AWS Organization connector and attach it to member connectors in minutes.
