Access ETM
Access and Sign-In to ETM
Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) is one of the applications available through the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk Platform.
To access ETM:
- Open a web browser and go to your Qualys Enterprise TruRisk Platform URL.
- Sign in using your Qualys credentials.
- Select the application picker in the upper-left corner of the interface.
- Select Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) from the list of available applications.
ETM opens in the application interface.
What You See the First Time
When you access Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) for the first time, ETM takes you through the initial experience required to begin reviewing organizational risk. Depending on the onboarding status, you see either the ETM home page or the onboarding wizard.
If onboarding has already been completed, the ETM home page displays the TruRisk Summary and recommended actions.
Understand Permissions
Permissions in Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) determine the actions users can perform and the data they can access within the application. ETM uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage user permissions and Tag-Based User Scoping (TBUS) to restrict access to assets based on assigned tag scopes, where supported.
Administrators can configure roles and data access scopes to ensure that users have the appropriate permissions and access to relevant assets based on their responsibilities.
ETM provides two default roles, ETM Manager and ETM Viewer. A superuser has all ETM permissions, and only a superuser can complete the onboarding wizard.
